HYDRA

Hydra is a picturesque tiny island, with a strong cosmopolitan tradition just 1 ½ hour away from Piraeus. Cruise passengers, yacht crews and VIPS overwhelm its little port, but this is merely a part of the island’s charm.

No motorized transport is permitted on Hydra and you can rely on prompt donkeys and mules to carry you around the island. Hydra town is ideal for romantic walks.

The island is connected to Piraeus 5 times a day. Most ferries stop at Poros. There are frequent services to Poros and Spetses.
