CHIOS

Chios is one of Greece’s largest islands with a long coastline that remains unspoilt by mass tourism. The island is situated in the north-eastern Aegean, close to Asia Minor’s coast.

Although the island maintains a low profile it has a lot to offer; besides the nightlife, in the summer months, there are medieval stone settlements, museums, monasteries, castles and beautiful sandy beaches.
People are hospitable, reserved and with a long maritime tradition that explains the island’s cosmopolitan air.

Mastic is a product uniquely cultivated and produced in the south of Chios.

Home-style cuisine, dozens of beautiful traditional villages and a varied landscape make Chios a great island getaway.

Ferries run daily to Piraeus and Mytilene in the summer. The island is connected to Thessaloniki via Limnos. There are weekly connections to Samos, Kos and Rhodes.
