Passenger guides and questionnaires for ferry travel from Monday 05/07/21

Dear customers,

We inform you that according to the Government Gazette 2879 / 02-07-2021 and the Press Release of Y.NA.NP of 02/07/2021, from Monday 05/07/2021 travel by ferry to the islands and between the islands, will be allowed if passengers:
  • Have completed at least fourteen (14) days since the last vaccination for the COVID-19 coronavirus and demonstrate a vaccination certificate, or
  • Have been negatively diagnosed for the COVID-19 coronavirus either through a laboratory test using the PCR method, performed by smear or nasopharyngeal smear within the last seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled travel time or through a rapid anti-CO 19 (rapid test) within the last forty eight (48) hours before the scheduled travel time. Negative diagnosis of laboratory test by PCR method and rapid antigen detection test is proven by the presentation of a relevant certificate, or
  • Demonstrate a disease certificate issued thirty (30) days after the first positive test which has a validity of up to one hundred and eighty (180) days after it, or
  • Demonstrate a certificate of vaccination of the European Union (digital certificate COVID) as well as of third countries.

The following passenger categories are excluded from the above obligation:

  • Minors up to twelve (12) years old (born after 1.7.2009), while for minors from 12-18 years old (born before 30.6.2009) the obligation is covered by a negative self test certificate from their legal  guardian,
  • Passengers who travel between different regions or districts for work purposes on a daily basis, can make their tirps by performing a weekly self-test (self-test),
  • Passengers traveling on ferry connections between islands of the same Regional Unit, can carry out their movements by conducting a self-test, either on a weekly basis, as generally applicable, or within twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled travel time,
  • Minors from twelve (12) to seventeen (17) years old, can make their trips by performing a weekly self-test twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled travel time.

In any case, the following applies to the boarding of passengers:

  • From the ports of mainland Greece to the islands, the form "Pre-Boarding of Locating a Passenger" (Health Declaration Questionnaire before Boarding), must be completed by passengers and presented together with the ticket, showing the necessary documents (either in electronic form through the website https://sea.travel.gov.gr/#/ or in printed form) with which they certify the results of tests and vaccinations to the purser staff in charge during boarding, before the departure of the ship.
     
  • From the islands to the ports of mainland Greece, the form "Pre-Boarding of Locating a Passenger" (Health Declaration Questionnaire before Boarding), must be completed by passengers and presented together with the ticket, to the purser staff in charge during their boarding, before the departure of the ship.
     
  • Between intermediate islands, passengers are not required to present the form "Pre-Boarding Passenger Locating" (Health Declaration Questionnaire before Boarding) but must present the necessary documents (either in electronic form through the website https://sea.travel.gov.gr/#/ or in printed form) with which they certify the results of tests and vaccinations to the purser staff in charge during boarding before the departure of the ship.
