AMORGOS

Amorgos is widely known as an alternative vacation destination mainly because it has remained mainly untouched by mass tourism, unlike most of the Cyclades.

The name derived from a plant named “Amorgis” used mostly in the production of cloαks.

It is located on the northeastern part of the Cycladic complex; the capital is named Amorgos or Hora, as in many Greek islands and it lies next to the port, Katapola and in-between gorgeous sandy and pebbled beaches. Aigiali, on the northern side of the island serves as the secondary port.

The great number of narrow paths will please those who enjoy hiking around a new place.
