SIFNOS

Sifnos boasts beauty that can seduce any visitor, tradtional cycladic white houses, beautiful Bougainvilleas, pristine sandy beaches and crystal waters.

Gorgeous paths connect the island's settlements. While Sifnos might appear rather dry and infertile there are some olive and almond tree fields.

In ancient times, Sifnos was very rich due to silver and gold deposits that were discovered, however they ran out before the 5th century B.C..  The island is well-knowe for tis' pottery tradition and its' cuisine.

Apollonia, the capital, an architectural gem, has been built on a hill.

Daily routes connect Sifnos with Piraeus through Serifos and Kythnos. Frequent connections with Milos, Kimolos, Folegandros, Sikinos, Santorini, Paros and Syros also take place.
