• Tallinn's Old Town has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe and a stroll around the cobblestoned alleys is a must.
• The Town Hall Square (Raekoja plats) is the most central point of the Old Town and there is Maiasmokk, the oldest cafe in the city. If you can’t resist to romance, the 8 gates and 46 towers will create the perfect setting for you!
• Katariina Käik is a famous narrow street with local shops selling glassware, ceramics, paintings and jewelry. At the same time, a 15th century building houses many workshops that create handmade products. • Raeapteek is the oldest pharmacy in Europe (the first mention of the pharmacy was in 1432).
• Visit the underground arcades of the Bastion that were built in the 17th century, when the city was under Swedish occupation.
• In the Old Town you will find the former detention centers of the KGB, which today have known as the KGB Museum. There you will learn stories from the time of the Soviet occupation and see an exhibition of prison artefacts.

• In the Rocca al Mare area you will find the largest shopping center in Estonia, as well as the Open Air Museum of Estonia. The museum was built in 1957, it covers 790 acres and includes 14 farmhouses, a church, a school, fishing sheds, with the aesthetics of the period in which it was built.
• Tallinn Zoo is home to over 350 species of animals and has workshops for children and teenagers.
• If you travel to Tallinn during the summer, make sure you get to Pirita, and walk or cycle by the sea and, why not, enjoy a dip in Tallinn Bay. It is one of the most famous seaside areas with many shops.
• Vimsi is another well-known area in the sea where festivals and performances are organized in the summer. In the area you will also find the Estonian War Museum (Eesti Sõjamuuseum).
• In the Museum of Puppetry Arts (Nukuteatrimuuseum) you will find a theater where puppet shows take place, as well as exhibits related to this art.
• Visit the 3 nearby islands of Tallinn: Aegna has a stone labyrinth. Naissaar has sandy beaches and hosts music festivals. Prangli has rich flora and fauna.
• The modern center of Tallinn has skyscrapers, expensive hotels and trendy restaurants clustered in the Rotermanni kvartal and Vabaduse väljak neighborhoods.

From mid-November, the Town Hall Square in the Old Town is filled with lights, candy stalls, decorations and mulled wine and delicacies. How do I get to Tallinn?
Depending on the season you choose to go, there are both direct and connecting flights. Pay close attention to the dates you choose to book the flight that suits you. Tallinn's airport is Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport. It is connected to the city center by bus No2, which runs regularly.
If you are in Stockholm, Helsinki or Mariehamn, you can book ferry tickets with Let’s Ferry and travel to Tallinn by ferry. The Tallinn-Helsinki and Tallinn-Stockholm ferry journey takes 2.5 hours, while the Tallinn-Mariehamn journey takes 10.5 hours.
If you want to travel by train, Tallinn is connected to Riga and from there you can go to all major European cities by train or bus.
If you want to travel to Russia by car, the route Tallinn - Petersburg is 370 km and 5 hours of driving.
