Sail the Argosaronic with the 3 new Aero Highspeed

Attica Group makes traveling to the Argosaronic islands an even more exciting affair. A total of 17 daily routes are now covered by 3 new high-speed ferries that travel from Piraeus to Aegina, Agistri, Poros, Hydra, Spetses, Ermioni and Porto Heli. AERO I, AERO II and AERO III, that replaced the Group's older technology ships for the same destinations, are 36 meters long and have a width of 9.7 meters. Their carrying capacity is 150 passengers and the maximum speed of the ships is 32.2 knots while fully loaded.
The three new Aero Highspeed Catamarans were built at the Brødrene Aa shipyards in Norway, and started sailing in Greek waters on Monday the 8th of August.
The routes will be operated by Hellenic Seaways and will serve the more than 3 million passengers who travel to the Argosaronic Islands annually, further developing the local communities of the beautiful island complex.

Travel in comfort

The design of the new ships is dedicated to offering their passenger maximum comfort and an unforgettable travel experience.

Among the services and benefits offered are:
• Guaranteed comfort even in rough sea conditions, ensured by innovations in the boat's hull and navigation systems.
• Large windows in the passenger living areas so that there is abundant natural light and unobstructed views.
• Luggage is stored above the seats, as well as in specially designed areas.
• Special care has been provided for passengers with physical impairments.
• Passengers carrying bicycles can store them in specially designed spaces.
• Pets remain in areas featuring high standards.

Ecological design

Attica Group has invested in Aero Catamarans aiming to significantly reduce our environmental footprint and gradually achieve a greener economy. This will be done with the reduction of fuel consumption and gas emissions, and the photovoltaic units installed, covering the lighting and electricity needs of the ship's hotelier services. The total investment cost 21 million euros derived from equity and bank loans.
