Aegean Speed Lines was founded in 2005 by Eugenides Group of Companies and the English Group of Companies Sea Containers.

Speedrunner III and Speedrunner IV, two high speed vessels of the latest technology, have been employed to serve transportation needs of the western Cycladic islands in the past few years.

Since 2009, Aegean Speed Lines’ fleet has been renewed to serve new routes of travel in Cyclades. Aegean Speed Lines has been the first Greek company to employ a foreign flag vessel following the Greek cabotage.

The company has opted to offer a variety of solutions to transportation needs of Cyclades in order to promote growth and prosperity for the local communities.
