Attractions in Capri
Villa Lysis is a mansion that was built in 1904 and remains elegant until today. Many poets, intellectuals, and painters lived there and now it belongs to the municipality. Every summer, exhibitions, shows and concerts take place in this mansion.
Augustus Gardens (Giardini di Augusto) have statues, flowers and plants, and an unforgettable sea view.
Maria Santissima della Libera is the church of San Costanzo, the patron of the island. It’s very close to the port.
• The Saint James' Charterhouse (Certosa San Giacomo Capri) is famous for its murals. It’s 25 minutes from the port.
• The Natural History Museum (Museo Ignazio Cerio) has more than 20000 exhibits from Palaeontology, Geology, Biology and History.
Anacapri is the second municipality in Capri. It’s less crowded and prices are lower. You can visit Anacapri on foot or by bus.

Beaches in Capri
Spiaggia Bagni di Tiberio is a small, organised rocky beach. It’s 20 minutes from the port.
Spiaggia Marina Grande is close to the port. It has sunbeds, umbrellas and emerald waters.
Spiaggia di Marina Piccola is, as its name proclaims, a small beach with turquoise waters. You will need plenty of luck to find a spot to lay your towel.
• At Lido del Faro you will see the best sunset of the island.
Da Luigi ai Faraglioni has a close view to the Faraglioni rocks. It’s an organized beach ideal for snorkelling.

Activities in Capri

Take the funicular that connects Anacapri to Monte Solaro. The view from there is spectacular and you can even see the Amalfi Coast.

Access to Capri: You can reach the port by bus, funicular and sea taxi. The funicular connects the port to Piazzetta, the island’s main square.
Anacapri is 6 km from the port. Capri to Anacapri is 20 minutes by bus and 50 minutes on foot.

Only in Capri: Take a ride with a traditional Caprese open-air taxi. They are convertible and can taky up to 7 passengers. Visit Carthusia, the perfume lab that took its name from the Carthusians monks that lived in Capri. They produced the first perfumes using flowers and herbs from the island. The perfume "Capri forget me not" is the perfect souvenir to take with you, made by figs and begonia.
Try the torta caprese, the signature dessert of Capri. It’s a cake with chocolate and almonds.
