• At the Art Museum (Frederikshavn Kunstmuseum) you can see pieces of art from local artists, as well as buy contemporary art objects. You can even buy some of them!
• The Coastal Museum of Bangsbo (Nordjyllands Kystmuseum) is one of the four Coastal Museums in Northern Jutland. It is housed in a mansion dated back to 1364, at Bangsbo’s botanical garden, and here you can see how life in Frederikshavn was back in 1900. This mansion has also been a hot spot for Scandinavian writers and artists.
• Enjoy the breathtaking view from the 3 km platform on Pikkerbakken.

: See the biggest Naval Festival, the «Days of Tordenskiold – the year is 1717». It’s an annual festival that lasts 3 days and is inspired by the exploits of Peter Tordenskiold, a naval officer from Denmark, who played an important role during the Great Northern War (1709-1720). Some of the things you will have the chance to see here are wooden boats and vessels from the 18th century. Also, actors bring to life battles and perform parades at the streets around the port. Concerts liven up the three days and food markets with Danish cuisine fill the air with wonderful aromas.
