Samothrace, the island of mysteries
Samothrace is a place that does not follow the splendor, comforts and commercial tourism like the other islands. Rich history, wildlife, waterfalls, pedestals, mythical tales and the imposing Mount Saos, a mountain that seems to float from afar, yes it makes sense to enchant those who visit it. Samothrace fanatics belong to all age groups and all nationalities. They come every year to the island of mysteries to enjoy swimming in the natural pools, to take hot baths and to get a sense of the energy vibrations that they hold from the worship ceremonies of Kaveri in ancient times.

A luminous night in Samothrace island
Tip: If you drive there, make sure to be super careful where you park your car. It is highly likely that if you park it under the shade of an oak or wild olive tree, you may find wild goats – yes, that’s right– on the top of your car when you get back. They are probably out looking for food so to them a car or a rock makes no difference as long as they can climb on it. Oh…and something else, it is said that wild goats in Samothrace are 15 times the population of the island so, beware!
