• Τhe Malmöhus is the Castle of Malmo which was a citadel from 1434. During the 19th century it served as a prison.
• In the Castle there are many museums like the Malmo Museum of Art, the City Museum and the Natural History Museum. There is also a small aquarium in the area.
• The Moderna Museet (The Museum of Modernism) is a branch of the Moderna Museet of Stockholm. See pieces of contemporary art with free entrance.
• The Sankt Petri Kyrka (St. Peter’s Cathedral) was built in the 14th century and is the oldest church in Malmo.
• The Stortorget is the city’s main square and a famous meeting point. Enjoy your meal at a terrace restaurant with views to the Malmo Radhus (City Hall) and the statue of King Karl X Gustav.

Beaches in Malmo
• The Ribersborgsstranden is sandy with shallow waters. The seafront dock has a view to Turning Torso, the city’s famous skyscraper. At the beach you can find showers, an open-air gym and a café.
Lomma is 16 km away from the port. It’s a long sandy beach and on windy days, it turns into a perfect kitesurfing spot.
