The French city of Corsica is in the Corse-du-Sud region, at the Tyrrhenian Sea. Porto Vecchio is a popular destination, especially for Italian tourists. Attractions in Porto Vecchio
• The Citadel (Citadelle de Porto-Vecchio) has picturesque narrow streets that will travel you back in time. The Porte Génoise used to be the citadel's main gate that connected the city to the port.
• At the Citadel you will see the Catholic Church of Saint Jean-Baptiste (Église Saint Jean-Baptiste). It was built in the 16th century.
