What to do
Zakynthos is a swimmers’ paradise although It is difficult to choose between so many exotic beaches.

  • Before you put on your swimsuit, visit the unique Zakynthos’s National Marine Park, the home of Monachus Monachus seals and Caretta Caretta turtles. These two rare species travel from all over Mediterranean Sea to leave their eggs at the beaches of Zakynthos.

  • The particular blue color of the waters in Navagio (“Shipwreck”) beach is famous all over the world. Take a boat trip to the Blue Caves, a tropical rocky scenery with crystal waters.
  • Rent a canoe and enjoy the route from Keri lake to Marathonisi. If you’re lucky, you’ll see a sea turtle swimming next to you.
