Information about the port of Patras

Patras is connected to Kefalonia, Ithaki, Corfu and Igoumenitsa, in Greece, and the Italian ports of Ancona, Bari and Venice. One port, two gates: In order to provide with the best travel experience, the port is divided to the South (New Port) and the North (Old Port). After the reconstruction of the North Post, the New Port was built as an extension. Passengers who wish to travel to Italian ports go to the New Port and the ones heading to Greek ports go through the Old one. Between Corfu and the mainland (Igoumenitsa) run hourly car ferries, stopping to Paxi islands several times a week.
