Web check-in information

What is web check-in?

Web check-in is the possibility provided by some ferry companies, to receive your ticket online a few hours, usually 48, before your trip. During your reservation you can see with the relevant icon which companies provide you with web check-in. The web check-in concerns each ferry company separately and not the total booking in case it includes more than one ferry company. You can then board the ship with the boarding pass you will receive from the company.

How do I web check-in?

When your reservation is complete, the link for the web check-in process is provided on the page and in the reservation confirmation email. By clicking on this link you end up on the page of the shipping company which asks you for specific codes to complete the process. The codes appear on the page and in the booking confirmation email with the distinctive title "web check-in".

Why do web check-in?

With web-check-in you can avoid overcrowding and long queues at the ports, especially in the summer season. With online check-in you save substantial time, as it is very easy and fast in just two steps. You board the ship directly without any additional delays, and its main advantage is that it can be done from wherever you are.
In addition, any changes that may occur are easier to make while you have checked in online than with a paper ticket.
Finally, web check-in contributes to reducing the use of paper, helping to reduce environmental problems.
