Ferry tickets to Paros

Paros is the epitome of Greek islands. There is a 40-year old tradition in tourism industry and is one of the most visited islands of the country.

Set sail to cool Paros!

When you think of Paros try to picture an island less boisterous compared to Mykonos and more of a hangout place than Santorini. Paros’ fans include stars like Monica Bellucci and Matthew McConaughey who keep coming back year after year.

You’ve probably already heard about the island’s nightlife and the variety of water sports you can enjoy there, but what you may not know is that Paros is also a very artsy place. The island is the birthplace of many musicians, painters, and poets. And, it is also home to the Aegean Center for the Fine Arts since 1966. If you need more reasons to visit it, here they are:
The Marathi Marble Quarries. It is right here where one of the finest varieties of marble-semi-translucent and permeable to light was extracted. Suffice to say that Aphrodite of Milos and the Nike of Samothrace are made out of this Parian marble.
Don't miss the picturesque town of Parikia, with its whitewashed alleys and the trademark-Church of the island, Panagia Ekatontapyliani.

The "Kapetaneika", an athletic event of sailing races with traditional wooden boats, that usually takes place in September.

Windy all summer long, Paros is a paradise for surf, kitesurf and windsurf fans from all over the world, who pick the island for its well-organized water sports centers. Be sure to also try:
• Sea Kayak, Stand up Paddle Boarding (SUP) and Jet Ski to ride the sea and fishing tours to savor its delicacies.
• Horseback riding and hiking on the marked trails.
