Castello Sveno is Termoli’s landmark. The castle was built in the 11th century to fortify the city. Today it’s a cultural venue.

The festival has ancient origins and is one of local’s favourite feasts. As soon as the sun goes down, santagne (the enormous frying pans) start to fry fresh fish. People from Termoli and tourists sit on wooden benches and chairs to enjoy their meal. The night is completed with music concerts and fireworks.
