• As you enter the port, the San Francisco statue (San Francesco da Paola) welcomes visitors.

• Spaggia di San Lorenzo is organized in some parts. It has pine trees, thin sand and shallow waters.
• Spaggia di dietro San Lorenzo is secluded and has many restaurants in a short distance. It is free in some parts and public in others. You can reach it through a path and some steps.
• Spiaggia di Portonuovo is a pebbled beach with a parking area and some fish restaurants. The waters here are turquoise and shallow.

Only in Vieste: Walk down the 120 steps of the Stairway of Love (Scalinata dell'amore). The steps are painted with red hearts and have on them the lyrics of a romantic song. This song was written for Pizzomunno and Cristalda, a couple of Vieste that, according to the legend, lived in the ancient years. It is said that if you go down the stairs with your loved one, you will stay together forever.
