• As you enter the port, the San Francisco statue (San Francesco da Paola) welcomes visitors.

• Spaggia di San Lorenzo is organized in some parts. It has pine trees, thin sand and shallow waters.
• Spaggia di dietro San Lorenzo is secluded and has many restaurants in a short distance. It is free in some parts and public in others. You can reach it through a path and some steps.
• Spiaggia di Portonuovo is a pebbled beach with a parking area and some fish restaurants. The waters here are turquoise and shallow.

Only in Vieste: Walk down the 120 steps of the Stairway of Love (Scalinata dell'amore). The steps are painted with red hearts and have on them the lyrics of a romantic song. This song was written for Pizzomunno and Cristalda, a couple of Vieste that, according to the legend, lived in the ancient years.
