Located close to the village of Laganas, approximately 13km from the city of Zakynthos, you will find the beach of Agios Sostis. During the first liturgy of the church “mastic” and “loukoumi” were offered. The tradition is still followed every December 26th and August 19th, when Agios Stefanos is celebrated. The Chapel of Agios Stefanos is one of the 20 best churches built in a cave! You can get there either by foot – it is about 15 minutes of a walk from the beach of Galissas - or by a boat.
