American magazine Travel + Leisure has published its annual list of the best destinations for 2022. Professionals from all over the world, experts in travel journalism, have chosen their ideal places for holidays. Among them a Greek island, Patmos, known for its elegance and cosmopolitan aura.

The Mayor of Patmos, Lefteris Pentas, stated that: "The island of the Apocalypse features a unique combination of authentic experiences and quality tourism services under the light of the UNESCO world heritage sites, namely the Chora, the Holy Cave of the Apocalypse and its Monastery of Saint John. For this season, the destination is scoring exceptionally well with very high occupancy rates for August as well as September, targeting an audience with exquisite interests."
